Pantaya

Pantaya is a Spanish and English entertainment streaming platform. We were approached to complete product design and user interface design for web, tv, and mobile devices for the initial launch of this platform. 

The home screen of any entertainment platform has to be compelling and content focused, especially if a user hasn’t signed up for the service yet.

While designing for TV has it own challenges and restrictions, usability and easy navigation are just as important as on any other device.

We had to make sure the design worked well with interactions that would take place using a tv remote, as opposed to traditional scrolling, tapping, and swiping.

When designing across multiple platforms, it’s important to take into account the different nuances and behaviors that some platforms have and others do not.
