Blogmutt

BlogMutt is a blog service that generates content for it’s large-scale corporate clients. The ask: a complete re-design; new logo, style guide, brand book, web design, newsletter, landing page, and brand collateral. To be trusted with the identity of any organization, it takes thoughtfulness, responsibility and care.

To kick off the re-design, we established that this brand was approachable, fun, reliable and doesn’t take itself too seriously.

The style guide laid out what the identity should look and feel like. We expanded on this and created a brand guide to showcase the tone and voice of BlogMutt.

The brand guide was an internal piece of collateral that did lay out colors, fonts and logos but more importantly it showcased the why and the how of the brand. Tone, voice, vibe and personality all in one little book.

BlogMutt specializes in creating customized content. To communicate this, we elevated the concept and showcased content as art throughout the site.

With the web design we found the balance of clearly communicating the product, i.e. custom content, and communicating the playful attitude of the brand. We can showcase the brand’s personality while having opportunities for product engagement clearly identified and easily accessible, regardless of device.

Some apparel to reaffirm this group doesn’t take themselves too seriously.

Redesigning this brand was a very collaborative and iterative process.
